Consultation has concluded

Following consultation, a document outlining the Public Realm Heritage Guidelines for Colonel Light Gardens State Heritage Area has been produced and made available on the City of Mitcham website.

Consultation was undertaken in April 2022 on the draft Heritage Standards for the Public Realm for Colonel Light Gardens to ensure the the draft Heritage Standards reflect the core values of the community and delivers a clear vision for the important role community land plays in building a healthy, .

A draft Heritage Standards for the Public Realm has been prepared for Colonel Light Gardens to facilitate on going improvements and the protection of heritage assets within the suburb.

The Heritage Standards for the Public Realm will provide a specific set of management directions catering to Colonel Light Gardens, its heritage, its purpose, unique environment and users.
