Manson Oval Playground Upgrade

Consultation outcomes

We've installed a new playground, seating, picnic setting and barbecue at Manson Oval, Bellevue Heights.

Catering to a range of age groups and abilities, the playground has a play station and slide, tunnel, flying fox, rope climb, roundabout and swing set.

Logs recycled from the Springbank Road and Daws Road intersection upgrade have been used as a nature play element, and we've positioned equipment beneath tree canopy to maximise natural shade.

Along with a table and chairs, Council has installed new seating and automatic barbecue.

You'll find the playground next to Bellevue Heights Tennis Club and Manson Oval, off Sargent Parade.

Consultation has now closed for the Manson Oval playground renewal.

Background

Council proposes to install more play equipment to cater for a wider range of age groups and abilities, located to maximise natural shading beneath the existing tree canopy.

As part of the playground renewal, Council plans to install a new picnic setting, new seating and automatic barbecue.
