Council considered the feedback received from the community on the draft Community Land Management Plan for the Temporary Pasadena Community Centre located on Adelaide Terrace at the Full Council meeting on 9 April 2024. After careful consideration of this feedback, Council adopted the Community Land Management Plan for the Temporary Pasadena Community Centre (Adelaide Terrace).

These decisions were made with the community's input and aim to effectively manage the land surrounding the Temporary Pasadena Community Centre. Thank you to all residents who participated in the consultation process.

Background

The City of Mitcham invited feedback from the community on a draft Community Land Management Plan for the Temporary Pasadena Community Centre (Adelaide Terrace) in February 2024.

A draft Community Land Management Plan (CLMP) was prepared for City of Mitcham to allow for the continuation on the current community programs at the Pasadena Community Centre while it undergoes renovations. The new CLMP will also allow for builders to make use of the community land adjacent the Pasadena Community Centre to allow for renovations and other ongoing improvements during the build.

Feedback on the Proposed Draft Community Land Management Plan for the Temporary Pasadena Community Centre (Adelaide Terrace) was invited to ensure it reflects the core values of the community and for the continued operation of the Pasadena Community Centre on this site acknowledging the important role these pieces of community land play in building a healthy, connected community in Pasadena.

The online survey closed at 5pm Sunday 24 March 2024.
