AA Bailey Reserve toilet upgrade is now open!
Playground users at AA Bailey Reserve, Clarence Gardens, now have access to conveniently located public toilet facilities. A new toilet facility that includes a unisex accessible cubicle and unisex ambulant cubicle is now located next to the playground area.
As part of the project, an accessible swing has been replaced with a two-bay accessible and basket swing.
Background
Council will improve toilet facilities at AA Bailey Reserve by constructing the new toilet building under current accessibility standards and constructing the new facility to meet Community expectations and requirements for Council owned facilities. The new public toilet facility will be located adjacent to the playground area and will consist of a Unisex Accessible cubicle and a Unisex Ambulant cubicle.
As part of this new Public Toilet Facility, we will decommission the existing dated facilities and relocate the accessible swing in the Playground to a more suitable location.
Council intends to keep the new public toilets open during daylight hours only and have the facilities cleaned daily.
