Regarding our 2024 Australia Day Celebrations at Soldier's Memorial Gardens, respondents enjoyed the evening event, appreciating the inclusive and comfortable format. The live music, grant presentations and the Welcome to Country were highlights for several attendees. The event was well-organised and well-represented by local Council Members, making participants feel welcome and included. While some suggested holding the event on Australia Day itself, others enjoyed the evening before as it allowed for a more relaxed and enjoyable celebration. Overall the feedback provided valuable suggestions for further enhancing future events.
