Upgrade of CC Hood Reserve officially launched with a sod turning ceremony!

The ceremony was held at the site of a new small dog park at the northern end of the reserve, where work will begin this week.
This will be followed by the installation of a playground in early April, followed by a pump track and central tree-lined pathway with solar lighting and additional barbecue and shelter.
These works will be delivered as part of a 2022 State Government election commitment by Member for Elder Nadia Clancy MP, who pledged $1 million on behalf of the Minister for Infrastructure and Transport towards the revitalisation of the reserve.
Works already undertaken include the installation of a new three-on-three basketball court and soccer goals at the southern end of the reserve.
The small dog park is expected to be completed by early April.
