Draft Community Land Management Plan (CLMP) for O’Deas Reserve – Grandview Crescent Entrance in Panorama

The City of Mitcham is inviting the community to provide feedback on the draft Community Land Management Plan (CLMP) for O’Deas Reserve – Grandview Crescent Entrance in Panorama

O’Deas Reserve – Grandview Crescent Entrance is located at the entrance to O’Deas Reserve off Grandview Crescent, Panorama. The Land referred to in the draft CLMP provides access to O’Deas Reserve and adjoining private property for vehicles and pedestrians.

What are the objectives for the management of this community land?

As outlined in the draft CLMP document, the objectives for the management of this land are:

  • To provide public access and connectivity to O’Deas Reserve
  • To ensure the land is maintained and managed in accordance with the right of way granted for the benefit of the adjoining land

What is Council proposing to do with this land?

It is specifically proposed (subject to available funding and all relevant Council and statutory approvals and authorisations) that:

  • There is an upgrade of the existing assets (fencing, paths, signage) in line with Council’s asset renewal program to allow for the Land to continue to be used for access to O’Deas Reserve by the community
  • The surface of the right of way is upgraded and maintained
