St Marys Reserves Upgrades Complete

17 December 2025

We are excited to share that the St Marys reserve upgrades are now complete!

Thurles Street, Donald Street and St Marys Reserves are now more welcoming and accessible thanks to the installation of new seating, play equipment, water fountains and tree plantings.

At Thurles Street, a new playground and ninja-style warrior course have been installed, along with a BBQ, shaded seating and drinking fountain.

The upgraded play space features slides, a timber climb wall, flying fox, rocker, spinner and shop front.

The Thurles Street playground was funded under City of Mitcham’s capital renewal program.

At Donald Street Reserve, a new playground features swings, climbing nets, spinners and rockers, a sandpit slides and more. The reserve has new fencing, shade, a drinking fountain, BBQ and shelter.

St Marys Street Reserve features a shelter, picnic table, bench seats, soccer goals and a drinking fountain.

The Donald Street and St Marys Street Reserve projects were funded by the Government of South Australia and delivered by the Member for Elder, Nadia Clancy MP, as part of the Malinauskas Government’s promise to revitalise reserves in St Marys.
