The City of Mitcham has a vision to be a welcoming and inclusive community.

As part of our key strategic document Mitcham 2030, we aim to build capacity for people to be active, healthy and connected, and provide inclusive and safe environments for all.

We work towards these goals through the actions in our Disability Access and Inclusion Plan and Public Health and Wellbeing Plan which are both now due for review to ensure these plans remain realistic, useful and responsive to local need.

Tell us what matters to you

We want to know what makes you feel safe, welcome, and included in our community.

What helps you stay healthy and well? This could be the services you use or the places and activities that support your wellbeing.

Your experiences and ideas will help shape a community that works better for everyone.

Your voice helps shape the future

What you share will help us plan for a community where everyone, regardless of background or ability, can live a happy and healthy life.

Your input will guide how we:

  • Protect and promote public health over the next five years
  • Focus our efforts and resources to support the wellbeing of all, especially those most vulnerable.

Together, we can build a safer, healthier and more inclusive community.
