The City of Mitcham invited feedback on aproposal to relocate the basketball court from Pasadena Reserve to the Piazza Reserve located on The Piazza in Pasadena.

As part of Council’s 2023/2024 renewal program, we are renewing and proposing to relocate the basketball court from Pasadena Reserve to the Piazza Reserve.

Due to the potential risk of damage from nearby trees, we are considering relocating the basketball court in Pasadena Reserve. While exploring alternative locations within Pasadena Reserve, concerns about proximity to the creek raised safety issues. To address this, we are seeking your feedback on the relocation of the court to Piazza Reserve, as it offers a potentially safer and more spacious alternative.

Additionally, investigation work is currently underway regarding enhancement of the creek in Pasadena Reserve which may affect the basketball court location in the reserve.
